The 4SR Garden Club is a collection of gardeners of all abilities, from beginners to advanced gardeners. We meet monthly from April through September at the Clubhouse. Due to the pandemic, we have not been hosting a full potluck event, as in previous years. Instead, we have been starting at 7:00 pm on the 3rd Tuesday and encouraging a few people to bring a dessert. Neighbors are welcome to bring a friend from outside the neighborhood if they wish.
We usually have a topic and a speaker either from a ranch member or outside presenters. Topics this year have included growing a lawn alternative and the art of bonsai.

2023
August 15, 2023 Garden Club cancelled.
July 18th in on schedule. See Flyer for details.
For our first 4SR Garden Club get together of 2023 is Tuesday April 18. We will have a potluck dinner followed by a discussion of garden challenges and solutions. What are your garden goals this year? This is for all levels of gardeners from wannabe’s to lifelong gardeners. And just for fun neighbors time. We’ll also brainstorm ideas for future guest speakers.
Bring a potluck dish and your own dinner setup (plates, utensils, and drink and glasses).

2022

The August 16, 7:00 pm meeting will be a garden tour and held at Jody Moss and Gary Kriedberg’s garden at 73 Bridge Lane. This tour includes garden art, a water feature with koi who rarely appear when you want them to, a veggie garden and perennial plantings. Wine, nonalcoholic drinks and a dessert potluck will be served. Feel free to bring a dessert to share; but not everyone needs to bring a dessert.
For September 20, 2022, we hope to have Andrew May build a garden vignette in our Clubhouse out of stones, driftwood, plants and found objects. This is an amazing creation and well worth the visit. Andrew writes the weekly column, “A Growing Concern,” and has been a frequent presenter in our midst. (this session was cancelled)
